As powerful a Goddess as I am, I am HUMAN.
You may be wondering, “Huh, what does she do when she’s not tormenting submissives and using her jiggling butt to seduce wallets from curious fans?” The answer is this: binge-watching series and reading a lot of books.
Today I want to focus on my love of series. I have a soft spot for the animated kind, especially! Specifically, I want to talk about We Bare Bears.
I got into it last month and I LOVE it. As of today, I am two episodes away from finishing the entire series and I am going to wait a little bit before I watch the movie!
If you have never seen it, here is a quick summary: Viewers enjoy the day-to-day hijinks of three bear brothers (no blood relation) as they go on adventures and hang out with their pals!
It is one of the most hilarious cartoons I have seen in a while and every episode puts a giant smile on my face. The best part about this series is that every episode is very detailed in its plot- but it does this in a very simplistic way so it does not come off as overwhelming. The events that are written in each episode (there is continuity, but most of the episodes are single-story) pull in watchers and leave you wondering “Well, what the heck is going to happen next?”
We Bare Bears beautifully combines human common sense with the comedy of animated animals and creates a lighthearted series for all ages! It has very wholesome moments, very action-packed moments and very knee-slap funny moments!
We Bare Bears is just fun! Whenever I am feeling like I need an escape from being the All-Knowing Leader of All Things Sexy And Cool, I have Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear to make me laugh.
For those that are curious:
My absolute fave: Ice Bear
My (not-even-mortal) enemy: Nom Nom
Let me tell you why.
Ice Bear is the epitome of cool to me. He is soft-spoken, kind and willing to go to war for people he cares about! He has all of the means to be the lead of the pack, but instead he chooses to be a wholesome baby brother that likes to cook delicious meals. Ice Bear is also a bear of MANY talents. Multiple instruments, martial arts, cooking, robot design, etc. He is a mysterious character
Nom Nom, on the other hand, is written to be a giant dingle and every episode reminds you just how awful he is to others. The most satisfying episodes with him in it are satisfying because he gets a taste of karma! Of course, I am extremely biased and Nom Nom has gone out of his way to insult or harm Ice Bear. This makes him exceptionally uncool. He’s also just rude and cruel and he’s like this… unprovoked. His character is well-developed and he just developed into being a jerk!
As not many things in this world are perfect (excluding my perfect ass and voice), I do have a couple negatives of We Bare Bears. The main one is that it’s not an ongoing series. Yes, it is selfish to want more! I still will want more episodes because it’s just so well done and adorable! The other issue I’ve had with the series is that some parts are excruciatingly awkward. Of course, the awkward bits in episodes lead up to hilarity and lighthearted chaos so I get over it quickly!
I can gush about We Bare Bears for the rest of my life, but I will end it here for now!
If you’re a fellow fan, tell me your favorites and least favorite characters! I’d love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to leave recommendations for new (preferably animated) series for me to watch, too!
