My clip creator anniversary passed in May. It’s been a hectic, emotional year and I’m proud of the outcome of My hard work over this time.
If you told Me last year that I’d film over 300 clips, make a bundle of sweet regulars and make some of the most fun customs I could have ever imagined, I’d probably look at you like you had three pairs of eyes!
I’ve improved… a LOT over the past 12 months.
Of course I keep my first clips close to My heart, but at the same time if I never see those clips again I will not be complaining!
My first clips were awkward. I wasn’t used to being in front of a camera like that! It’s one thing to be typing out My thoughts in an elegant way and another to verbalize them. In many clips, I wasn’t too interested in talking, anyway. I was mainly focused on shaking My ass… not that there were any complaints about that! (I, and My great customers, love My ass!)
I’m much more comfortable and confident now. Since I’ve started making them, I’ve completely fallen in love with clips.
I also used to be very clunky when it came to my filming and editing schedule but now I’ve become a well-oiled machine.
In the past year I’ve dabbled in multiple video editors and I’ve found a couple that I like for now. Transitions are crisper, text is clearer and the lighting is improved (and I still intend to buy many more ring lights).
I’m slowly but surely upgrading My filming equipment. The most recent addition to My clips is closed captioning! I do everything (planning, scripting, filming, editing, promo and posting) on My own and after fiddling with text editors and subtitle files I am happy to announce that all of My future clips (excluding the currently queued ones) will have closed captioning!
